WordPress API integration

Custom WordPress and CEIPAL job portal for Aristek Consulting

Aristek Consulting wanted a modern WordPress website that could support recruiting operations without relying on a disconnected CEIPAL iframe. I helped create a lightweight, Gutenberg-based platform with API-driven job portal integration and a more consistent candidate experience.

Project outcome

The project created a stronger brand experience, better flexibility, cleaner job browsing, and a scalable foundation for future staffing-focused digital workflows.

Highlights

  • Replaced iframe limitations with a branded, API-based job experience
  • Built reusable Gutenberg systems instead of dependency-heavy page builder structures
  • Improved design consistency, mobile experience, and long-term flexibility

The challenge

What needed to be solved

Aristek already used CEIPAL ATS for recruiting operations, but the default iframe job embed felt disconnected from the website brand.

The iframe limited control over job filtering, search experience, responsive behavior, front-end interactions, SEO, and candidate browsing quality.

The client also wanted a lightweight WordPress architecture without heavy visual builders or unnecessary plugin dependency.

My role

What I handled

  • Built a custom WordPress website architecture focused on performance, maintainability, and staffing-industry credibility.
  • Created reusable Gutenberg-based systems so internal content could be managed without locking the site into a heavy page builder.
  • Integrated CEIPAL ATS through API-driven development to replace the iframe-style job experience.
  • Designed the website to serve staffing clients, job seekers, managed IT prospects, and digital growth service audiences.

Technical approach

How the work was structured

Custom WordPress architecture

  • Avoided dependency-heavy page builders in favor of lightweight custom WordPress development.
  • Created reusable Gutenberg systems for consistent content management and page composition.
  • Kept the platform flexible enough to grow with future staffing and service pages.

CEIPAL API job portal

  • Moved beyond the default CEIPAL iframe to create a branded job browsing experience.
  • Used API-based integration so job data could be displayed inside the site’s own layout and interaction patterns.
  • Improved candidate experience with cleaner presentation, stronger mobile behavior, and better alignment with the main website.

Staffing-focused UX

  • Planned the site around multiple user groups: hiring clients, candidates, IT service prospects, and staffing business owners.
  • Focused on fast browsing, clear service positioning, credibility, and reduced friction for job seekers.
  • Aligned design and technical structure so the recruiting experience felt like part of the brand, not an external tool.

Business impact

Why it mattered

  • Created a more professional, unified brand experience across marketing and recruiting pages.
  • Gave the client more control over job portal presentation, search experience, and mobile behavior.
  • Reduced long-term maintenance risk by using a lighter WordPress and Gutenberg-based foundation.
